    Unfortunately, our expectations based on our experience with the previous chefs were not met. Fine Dinning??? The food was ok, but what was on the menu was not served and this without prior information. The service was always friendly and the wines are excellent.

    Unforgettable dining with special and very personal service. Accommodation is excellent. We highly recommend Springfontein .

    Other than the price, his is not fine dining! Food was ok but unimaginative and presentation was nothing special. However service and location was great. I have never seen such a strange wine list. No Sauvignon or Chenin Blanc in an area renowned for these wines but pages of foreign reds prices over R1500 per bottle. Wierd! Sent from my iPad

    Our expectations were much higher because of the history of food. Photos and articles gave us another perspectief as we get served. More high end creations with the product of the surrounding. A pity because of the high quality of wines and restaurant. I came here to collect inspiraton for my one Kitchen in The Netherlands.
