The concept for Wine Down came to mind after another great trip in the breath taking Cape Winelands of South Africa. Being back in Centurion we longed for a place where one can have a great glass of wine with friends, with the feeling you get when you’re on the farm, of origin, being hosted by the Winemaker.

We aim to give our clients a relaxed and enjoyable experience by introducing you to old and new wines that cannot necessarily be found at your local store.
Our Business Model is developed around our passion for People, Wine and most importantly our God that made this adventure possible for us. Our saying – “Water into Wine” is based on Jesus’s first miracle where he turned Water into Wine.

Wine Down is a place where your love and enjoyment for good food and a selection of boutique wine pairings can be explored at a modest prices. Being a Retail Store as well as a Boutique Bar walk in’s are welcome and clients can also make bookings.

    Such an unexpected Valentines evening! Thought we were there for supper and wine tasting only, but they went the extra mile to make the experience more than pleasant. The wine experts where knowledgeable, the staff where friendly and full of jokes. Food was delicious and served to tickle your tastebuds. Music suited the romantic atmosphere without being overbearing. The special touches like the game cards ensured that my partner and I had an interactive and relaxed evening. We can't wait to join the next one of many fun wine tasting evenings!

    I got humiliated there When we arrived we were told our booking was not sent to them so they fully booked.in a nutshell we had to go find another place at night on a valentine day.

    We had a fantastic experience at WineDown. We did a group booking where we had a paired wine tasting with a charcuterie board and some sushi. The wine tasting was fantastic with Precious presenting it in a simple yet knowledgeable manner, the charcuterie board was beautifully presented and loaded with interesting and delicious cheeses, cold meats, fruits and dips. The sushi was the best we have had in ages! We highly recommend WineDown for a non-pretentious, unique and delicious experience, excellent for a special occasion as your every need is catered to. Truly a bit of a hidden gem in Centurion.
