    Hi. We had friends from JHB here and we felt like having sushi. So we decided to spend the evening by Wang Thai. We were a table of 4 people and we sat in the deck patio area. We got there and the staff were friendly but the service was a disaster. We ordered 3 platters of sushi and then we waited a minimum of a hour only to receive 2 out of the 3. I have no idea how long we waited for the 3rd platter but when we received the 2 platters we also decided to order fashion sandwiches. All the waiter told us is that a group of people ordered before us and we will need to wait for the 3rd platter (which was ordered with the other 2 platters) and the fashion sandwiches. Once again the wait started. Our first lot of drinks we received in an appropriate time but the rest of our drinks for the evening took forever. My wife also asked for a glass so that she could have water and she is still waiting for that glass. There were small slip ups like ordering a coke zero and receiving a coke etc. We also ordered take-aways that once again took forever. After asking for the bill that also took forever and we ended up paying by another waiter. Suddenly our waiter appeared to tell us we never tipped him 10%. 10% Is earned when giving good service. If the service was absolutely amazing we would have tipped 15% but to be honest the service wasn't great and we waited forever for our food. Tipping is not a requirement as tipping is all about service etc. We were extremely shocked that this waiter even actually came to inform us about his tip. Wang Thai won't be seeing us again.

    Ordered 3 starters to share.Mains arrived before the starters and upon enquiry found out that they'd given the starters to another table.Management and General service appaling.Won't recommend or ever go back.
