    Our waitress was very sweet but it seemed like she was still in training as she didn’t know that when pouring wine you ask one person to taste before serving the rest of the table and when you serve you start with the women first. She also brought our table salad without any serving utensils. The food was a hit and a miss unfortunately. The risotto was overcooked and stodgy and the steak was ordered rare but came medium. The other food orders (grilled prawns and melanzane) were lovely.

    The Classic Confit Duck Picasso dish with fondant potatoes was amazing. The duck skin was crispy and the meat was tender throughout. After that I ordered the chocolate fondant because I had enjoyed it when I previously dined at Verdicchio. This time I found it slightly lacking, I felt that baked cake layered had a bit more flour this time and wasn’t as chocolatey as I recall however once I got to the centre the gooey chocolate inside was just as rich as I remembered it being. Aside from that my brother’s fondant was baked all the way through so there seemed to be a bit of inconsistency with the baking. Other than that, the meal was overall delicious, the drinks were amazing as always and I would comeback and dine there again.

    Service and Ambience was great. But we were seated in a really terrible table. People kept walking pass us and just ruined the experience. And we booked 2 weeks in advance so I just expected better.
