Welcome to Utopia Cape Town, our 15th-floor home of Dining Elevated, with superb day and night views of our beautiful Cape Town. Choose a table with a City, Harbour, or Bo-Kaap view, an Instagrammers delight.


We offer Bistro-style Mediterranean-influenced dishes designed by Chef Jacques and his team, made with superb quality fresh ingredients and served in generous portions.

We offer a number of menus to meet the tastes and budgets of our diners.

*. Our Utopia À la Carte Menu has a large selection of superb shellfish and fish dishes, as well as flavoursome meat cuts, available daily.


Our waitron staff is able to advise you on the best wines to pair with your dishes. We have an excellent selection of wines, with a range of varietals and prices to suit all tastes and budgets. Our wines have been sourced from different terroirs, a number of them being five-star award-winning wines.

No children under 10 can accompany adults from 17h00 onwards. Smart Casual attire is advised.

    Ribs wasn't as well as before , the balsamic reduction and sauce was dripping off the wood serving platter that dripped onto or stuck to my clothes. I had to call for service and the ambience wasn't as good ,the outside door was closed ,I had to go around the.front , I suppose because there wasn't too many customers, staff didn't worry about a few customers. When it was full house previously I had great times ,meals and service

    I had researched places to eat prior to arriving in Cape Town and booked several months ago, so pleased I did!! Overall the food was fantastic. I had the Sauteed Prawns as a starter, found the sauce very salty and it was a bit disconcerting having to peel the whole prawn at the table but I did really enjoy it. Husband loved the Double Baked cheese souffle and his Caesar salad, which was very big for an entree dish. The standout was the Lemon Baked Alaska! Superb service in a very welcoming ambience. Staff could not do enough to help but were not always at our table either. Sharee from NZ.

    You guys have the worst customer service ever! Why ? Is it because you guys only accomadate and care about white people only ? And not us as blacks ? I have never seen a bunch of people working like you guys are! Imagine having to wait 45 minutes for a cocktail?🤣😅 I’m taking this to twitter, I’m sure we’re not the only blacks you’ve treated that way, imagine we had to beg for a comfortable place to sit !? Oh I’m definitely taking you guys to twitter today! Imagine, when we asked to change seats the lady asked if we’d be comfortable sitting next/ close to white people ? Lol what crap is that ? You guys arr horrible!!! If you’re just for white peope just say so that we don’t waste money coming to that place

    Unfortunately, the food was only average, value for money was low (we had prawns & Wagyu rumps as main courses) The rooftop-setting and the ambience are of course nice, but overall I would not recommend Utopia.
