Welcome to Utopia Cape Town, our 15th-floor home of Dining Elevated, with superb day and night views of our beautiful Cape Town. Choose a table with a City, Harbour, or Bo-Kaap view, an Instagrammers delight.


We offer Bistro-style Mediterranean-influenced dishes designed by Chef Jacques and his team, made with superb quality fresh ingredients and served in generous portions.

We offer a number of menus to meet the tastes and budgets of our diners.

*. Our Utopia À la Carte Menu has a large selection of superb shellfish and fish dishes, as well as flavoursome meat cuts, available daily.


Our waitron staff is able to advise you on the best wines to pair with your dishes. We have an excellent selection of wines, with a range of varietals and prices to suit all tastes and budgets. Our wines have been sourced from different terroirs, a number of them being five-star award-winning wines.

No children under 10 can accompany adults from 17h00 onwards. Smart Casual attire is advised.

    The views are amazing, the food was good. It is such a lovely place and staff was super friendly it’s not easy to find but I guess that makes it a hidden gem!!! Definitely coming back here.

    We had a fabulous meal, the sommelier was great, very informative and his recommendations were excellent. Service was a little disappointing and music too loud despite us asking twice for it to be turned down. When I claimed that my vegetables were raw they offered a delicious free dessert which I thought was a very good gesture. Will definitely be going back

    Starter and main were excellent. Trio of ice cream 5out of 10. Risotto which my wife ordered as main ok but not "wow"

    Table booked 2 weeks ago in a specific area of restaurant as I am in a wheelchair and the restaurant is on different levels. The easiest level with no hassles or stairs was the harbour view. Booked and paid deposit for our anniversary. On arrival we got there and they had no table for us there, only on the upper levels. The waiter offered to carry me up!!! Then I was told I could go all the way down and go up a service lift. NOT acceptable. You book in specific areas of the restaurant .. they ask for a deposit to hold it and then they just couldn’t be bothered. Service and attitude was shocking. Several people warned us about utopia but we thought we would give you a try to give your restaurant a chance but you failed miserably. We won’t ever consider Utopia in the future. We landed up at BAIA in the waterfront. What a marvelous experience.
