    Our xpectations were very high since our previous visit feb 2023. We were not dissapointed, on the contrary our expectation were sucseded. Compared to the many star rated Michelin resturants we have done in Europe this one is well on par.

    Compared to comparable dining, including wine', in Stanford is over 30% more expensive.

    Dear Jennifer, we are sorry if we have not met your price expectations. I don't think it's about the food: we serve each guest bread, olive oil and a paté upfront as a complimentary welcome gift, without any minimum sales requirement afterwards. Our starters range from R45, the main courses are all under R200 - except for the fillet on the bone. But please also understand that, when it come to our wines, we cannot offer them below cost. And these are well above average for us - more than ‘only’ 30

    "Down to earth" at its best - sometimes the extraordinary lies in the simple. Cosy atmosphere, a great team, outstanding wines and unpretentious, no-frills but extremely tasty food
