Since 1967, when founder, Allen Ambor, opened the Golden Spur in Newlands, Cape Town, Spur Steak Ranches have been part of the South African family.

In the years since then, Spur has helped to create countless special memories and earned a reputation for tasty, nutritious, value-for-money meals.

We’ve also grown into an internationally recognised brand with many local and international restaurants.

    It’s a great place for kids. Food was lovely. Unfortunately service was slow and poor. We were a group of 16 and they allocated 2 waiters to us who were absent most of the time and we had to look for them to order or follow up on an order. I requested the manager to assist with this many times but we still had a slow experience with the waiters for the evening.
