On Saturday evenings, Momiji Omakase Dinner offers a sushi-inspired set menu that highlights the best of modern Japanese cuisine at R725 pp.

On every second Friday of the month, Mochi Mochi Afternoon Tea puts a Japanese spin on the classic afternoon tea by blending the playful vibe of Mochi Mochi Japanese Café with the elegance of Momiji at Tjing Tjing House at R395 pp.

Experience the creativity and passion of our kitchen team in a serene, understated setting.

Reservations:
Reservations are essential and can be made via Dineplan or by emailing info@tjingtjing.co.za.

Dietary Accommodations:
Omakase Dinner - Pescatarian options are available as an alternative to the standard set menu upon reservation.
Mochi Mochi Afternoon Tea - Pescatarian and/or Vegetarian options are available as an alternative to the standard set menu upon reservation.

Unfortunately, no vegan and gluten-free options available.

Menu Changes:
No changes can be made on the day of service.

Age Restriction:
Children under 12 are not permitted for Omakase Dinner.

Menu Options:
Momiji does not offer an á la carte menu; however, á la carte options are available at Torii, the Rooftop Bar, and the Lounge.

    We were there for the Friday afternoon Japanese inspired high tea and it was WONDERFUL. We can't wait for the next special occasion to take a friend for their birthday or something... What a great way to spend a Friday afternoon,.

    Once again Momiji did not disappoint, from my previous two experiences at Momiji which was a definite 10/10, this one was about an 8/10 but still an experience that is an absolute MUST. The food is a wonderful experience with bursts of flavour and the talk of any conversation long after the meal has ended. Thanks to Ilze, Leandri and Aaron for making this evening a truly memorable one!

    The food was excellent - just what you want in a restaurant. Delicious, fresh, creative, and something you wouldn't make at home. We especially liked the lime nigiri, and more generally the wonderful play of textures in every dish. The wine list was good, but options for wine by the glass were very limited, and the pours were disappointingly small for the price (i.e. R130 for apx 175ml, when the bottle price is R450, and in the shop is R240). Service was generally very good if occasionally a bit uneven (first course delivered before drinks).
