Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    Friendly local restaurant to where we were staying. Food was great and service was excellent. Would highly recommend

    I had the pleasure of enjoying the beautiful, flavourful and very moreish seafood risotto this time, having loved the Woodlands mushroom risotto previously. My partner had the slow roasted lamb pizza and was most satisfied. The place was packed, yet the service was, as usual in my experience, discreet and super efficient. I recommend this warm-hearted and unpretentious establishment without reserve - great food, generous portions, served with Italian hospitality at its best.
