Wonderful setting and the warmest of welcomes (thanks Oswald and, as always, Nigel). Good and reasonably priced food enjoyed with the best of views makes the Willaston a regular fixture for us when visiting Cape Town.

It was our first time at Willaston Bar at the Silo Hotel. We were warmly welcomed by Nigel. Once he heard it was our first time, he generously gave us a tour of the hotel took us to the highest point of the hotel (highest point in Waterfront) and showed us the amazing views from the hotel. We then had dinner and the food was amazing while we watched the clouds roll over Table Mountain. I had the Butter Chicken, my wife has the prawns and our dinner party had the lamb cutlets. Tasty and delicious food. Nigel checked up on us and gave amazing service. We will definitely be back, and we can see why your hotel is five star premium.

The ambience in the bar was so poor, there was no music playing only the loud sounds of the blender and drinks being made. We ordered the cheese board and it left much to be desired. Just some grapes with seeds and a few crackers. We were planning on eating there but after the cheese board starter and bad ambience decided to have dinner elsewhere
