At the Vine Bistro, we serve flavor-packed classic bistro food with a modern twist, and distinctive, award-winning wines from Glenelly Estate. The interior décor is warm and elegant and includes a harmonious mix of 19th century chairs, classic Parisian tables, a contemporary cellar, a fireplace for the winter, leather banquettes and a traditional bar. Outside on the terrace or under the pergola, long wooden tables, a water feature and plants invite long lazy afternoons enjoying the picturesque views across the fynbos gardens and vineyards up towards the Simonsberg foothills. A warm and heartfelt welcome, friendly and attentive service and a sublime dining experience awaits.

    We enjoyed some of the best food around the Stellenbosch area twice this yesrand we’ve been coming for 10 years

    Had a great meal, with excellent wine. Service was very good, effective and unobtrusive. The restaurant is situated in beautiful surroundings An added bonus, as a collector of 16th to 19th Century glass the museum of glass was an added bonus

    I don’t enjoy it when all a Waiter or Waitress does is laugh when you ask them something ( all of the time )

    My wife’s steak was overcooked but the management handled it really well and we will definitely return
