Our restaurant offers the perfect environment from which to escape the hustle and bustle of city-life. The light and contemporary space with a double volume ceiling, wood finishes, earthy tones and South African decor, offers panoramic views of Table Mountain, Table Bay, the rolling hills and vineyards. The wooden deck is the perfect setting for sipping on a glass of crisp Sauvignon Blanc whilst the kids are entertained in the play-area. The menu prepared by head chef Tamzyn Ehlers is simple, unpretentious yet sophisticated, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner on selected evenings. The menu is colourful and creative with an elegant flair.

    After having a problem with the food on our last visit we came back this week and everything was perfect and how we remembered our previous visits ..All dietary requirements were took into consideration and I can happily say we were looked after very well

    Our overall experience was very good, but for some dishes the ‘fine dining’ elements got lost, e.g. one main course was pork belly, with a full dryish slice served on puree veg, with whole boiled jacket potatoes and too little crackling in relation to the meat.

    My first time visiting the Tangram restaurant, and it's a definite revisit for me and highly recommended. I had the kingklip and it was absolutely amazing. Great wine and great views, friendly service.
