Set on the De Meye wine farm in Stellenbosch, The Table hosts beautiful lunches using produce grown by local farmers as well as other ingredients sourced locally such as pastured raised meat, farm eggs, olive oil and cheese. Our three course set menu – abundant and comforting country fare – is served family-style on mismatched antique platters. In summer tables are spread out on the lawn, a tree apiece to give guests a sense of dining privately in some vast garden. In winter dining takes place inside our newly added dining room that looks out onto the lawn and vineyard, warmed up by wood burning fires.

A table shared with wonderful company, good conversation, and home grown food – these are the joys of a meal at The Table.

    The Table at De Meye is our favourite restaurant, and we always make a plan to go for lunch when we visit Cape Town. Friendly staff, great service, the most fabulous food, and the best setting under the oak trees. Highly recommended.

    I celebrated my 80th birthday at 'The Table', and it was an unforgettable experience. The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere made the day feel truly special. What stood out the most, though, was the exceptional service - every staff member was so kind and attentive, making us feel completely taken care of. The food was delicious, and every detail was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a milestone!
