Growing up in ​the sixties, different was good. Weird was good. Swimming against the stream was a dream.

We were always looking for an unconventional, different place to visit with simple, good food and coffee, followed by a beer, a glass of wine or a cocktail. Always unhurried, a pleasant, mellow environment with light music to sit, relax and let time slip by. Never being able to find what we were looking for, we decided to try and create our own.

The Shed & Silo is our labour of love. A work in progress that is full of surprises and never completely finished. We are continually trying to create what we were looking for.

    I had your excellent pork belly-a staple if i visit your restaurant and I just found it not as amazing as normal. As if it had been rushed.. the fat had not been rendered well. The plating was haphazard.. However I'm critiquing a small issue here...it was still very tasty. It was so hot in your restaurant -it made it unpleasant. You do need some overhead fans!!!

    What an absolutely beautiful setting to have a fabulous meal in the shade of the gardens at Shed & Silo. Seth our waiter was attentive and friendly and helpful. As always the food is delicious and so different from any other venue. Highly recommend Shed & Silo for a wonderful dining experience!

    Just love Shed & Silo. It is my go to breakfast restaurant. The food and let’s not talk about the cakes are delicious.The service is always amazing. Thumbs up
