The Silo Rooftop is the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail. For outside guests a deposit of R150 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

The Silo Rooftop offers guests a relaxed, al fresco experience with spectacular panoramic views of Cape Town from the tallest building in the V&A Waterfront. Enjoy a glass of bubbly, South African wine or a classic cocktail while you soak up the last of the day’s sunshine.

Kindly note that access to The Silo Rooftop is weather dependent and the pool is strictly for resident hotel guests only.

    Ordered our drinks and waited 20 minutes. No drinks arrived and waitress didn’t know where they were. We were really looking forward to going to the Silo but it was a total disappointment. Style over substance. We never go here again.

    Waiter was not very attentative. You expect better in a 5 star hotel. We consumed less than our depisit.

    We had a pretty awful experience here. We had high hopes for the sunset views from the roof, but the service was aloof and extremely slow. Our food finally arrived over an hour after we ordered it, but our burgers (the vegetarian and smash burger) were almost inedible.

    Leider kein besonders freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, erst nachdem wir eine Flasche Champagner bestellt hatten. Dann wird man gnadenlose bei 35 Grad in die Sonne gesetzt (obwohl es Sonnenschirme gibt die frei sind und Schattenplätze). Der Lärm von der Werft neben dem Hotel ist gnadenlos (Sandstrahler und Flex). Dann gibt es üble Gerüche von den Fischern die im Dock einlaufen und ihre Boote reinigen. Absolut keine Empfehlung!! Einzig die Aussicht ist wirklich super!

    We had a lovely time, but left early due to the heat. More umbrellas and fans would help on a hot day.
