    We had a delightful evening, but we were overwhelmed when the Large Plate arrived. It was enormous ! The photo on the menu is very deceiving. We had therefore completely over-ordered and had to take most of the food home. Everything was delicious though and the service was good.

    happy to return to one of my favourite restaurants on a quiet Wed evening. staff were friendly and attentive as always, the tah-chin as delicious as ever, and there are few things so magickally refreshing as sekanjebin.

    The experience is like being in the most beautiful living room, being served with love the most delicious food possible. Everything from the mezzeh to the, kebabs to the lamb tahdig (rice) -- scrumptious. And dont miss out on the saffron dessert. We had a combo of hot hot fereni (oh the saffron!) and yummm saffron ice cream. Cant wait for the next visit

    We were a group if 10 and what a great night with stunning food.. Well presented. We had a tasting platter as starters which we finished to the last bit. Oh my gosh.. The Mains.. Mixed grill with just everything that you could think of in a huge round platter.. The saffron rice dishes with the meat chicken in the middle.. Tasted so yummy.. The kebabs..the breads just fantastic. dessert saffron ice cream.. Saffron tea.. The rice pudding.. Will definitely come back.. I give the service and food and presentation a definite 5 stars. Nice cozy for date nights.. Friends get together.. Just absolutely stunning restaurant in the heart of city of Cape Town.. Thank you to the personnel too.. Great service. Thank you

    Food was absolutely amazing!!!! The meats was so soft and flavourful. The staff were so kind and friendly. The rice has to be my favourite though.
