Located on Beach Road in Cape Towns coastal village of Melkbosstrand, The Hart's food and service is only matched by its seaside views. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy and our staff efficient and welcoming. Our childrens menu caters for even the fussiest of eaters and the furry members of the family are provided with water bowls. The deck area is the perfect spot to enjoy our signature cocktails in the summer and coffee under heaters in the winter. Our menu is well designed, the food mouth-watering and most importantly, made with love.

    A truly great experience. The Hart has outside and inside seating and great views. The restaurant booking system is easy and communication is good. The menu has a great range of choices and the food we ordered was voted as superb and I can definitely say that my burger was exceptionally good. Sadly, I can’t remember the name of our waitress but service was efficient, professional and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend The Hart to all.

    It is a great venue. The service was a bit slow initially and some of the food was served cold and they ran out of portions of fish. However, the food was good overall, a lovely setting and good value for money.

    The treatment we have received from the managers is definitely not up to standard therefore not happy and will not go to THE HART again while on holiday.
