Contemporary Cuisine in an Extraordinary Space.

For outside guests a deposit of R250 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

Dining in The Granary Café is a unique experience. The menu inherits the same comfortable, eclectic and contemporary style as Liz Biden’s hotel interiors. Executive Chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert and her team believe in good, honest and approachable food that showcases seasonal, local ingredients.

    My mom and dad could not stop raving about their experience from start to finish they really enjoyed it. They made her feel special on her 60th and they were not rushed at all

    Great location but that’s it! We were at least 5 times asked about our reservation? My husband asked for no garlic but this message either did not arrive in the kitchen or? The steak was not a filet (as waiter told) and they did not do it medium rare as it was asked! We can’t tell if there was no cook in the kitchen or if communication was bad. There is a lot of work to do to keep up with the other good restaurants in the mothercity.

    What an evening of opulence. From the warm welcome, to the decor and the best server; Janice. The lamb rack & trout mains were out of this world. Although we enjoyed our starters, Springbok Tataki & Yellowtail Crudo, we can't gush about it. Not to give away to much; loved the small treats in between. Very thankfull for the wedding anniversary celebration dessert snack.

    From the moment you arrive at this exquisite hotel in the Waterfront, you are exposed to a very unique experience that will remain among your fondest memories - the service is exceptional - the ambiance, world class, the food is fine-dining and the views of Table Mountain and the city is the best in the whole of Cape Town - a must visit and well recommended for those with an appreciation for the finer things in life.

    From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious, and the intimate setting with the amazing view created the perfect ambience for us to enjoy our wedding anniversary. Also a huge thank you to the amazing waiter Oswald... He really made the evening an extremely pleasant one. Nancy and all the rest of the staff also outdid themselves... Thank you for creating a memorable evening.
