Our food is civilised without being pretentious … that is to say it has natural taste, smells and textures, and much character… often it looks beautiful too. What is paramount is that it is prepared with respect, savvy and love… then, it is the right food for us to eat …

    Our absolutly favorite restaurant around Cape Town. You can choose blindly and you are sure to get a delicious treat for the palate!!!

    Vegetarian options were significantly tastier than the meat options. Pork belly was too salty to eat. Calamari bland. Not the usual delight from the Food Barn.
