Enjoy the flavours of the countryside and the relaxing farm ambiance in an old stable, restored with care by the Louw family, where they’ve been making wine for six generations. Here locally grown and regionally sourced produce inspire Chef Martin De Kock to blend his classical French training with the flavours of Provencal France, Spain and a touch of Asia. The herbs and some of the vegetables are from the kitchen garden, the preserves and pickles are home-made and the bread freshly baked. Diemersdal Farm Eatery is closed on Mondays.

The Sunday lunch set menu Sharing Tapas was not as good as the normal a la carte Sharing Tapas. It is definitely noticeable that the food is prepared in advance and en masse. Because the Sunday lunch option is so popular the restaurant is very busy and the service also suffered a bit as a result. I enjoyed the weekday (non Sunday) experience much more: food, service and quality.

I came across Diemersdal Farm Eatery through the realisation of the excellence of Diemersdal wines and subsequent interest in visiting their tasting room. The Eatery was an equally pleasant discovery. Due to the threat of rain we ate inside their rustic dining room and experienced first class service. Of course the food matched the overall excellence and as it was a Sunday we ate from their set menu sharing tapas plates. The tuna ceviche with mango and passion fruit, and the bitterballen with horse radish and mustard stood out, but every course was superb. Wines and spirits were good value. Highly recommended.

Very good quality food at reasonable prices. Service is good . Only remark are the very loud guests and absence of an absorbtion of the noise.

Fantastic steak. Three had sirloin and I had fillet. All excellently prepared, they were all as we had ordered.
