    Food and service was awesome. They could work on their cocktails though. My pinacolada simply didn't taste like one.

    We had a great evening at The Famous Butchers Grill. A great ambience and the bouquet was very tasty. Perfectly grilled. The service staff were super nice. Thank you for the evening.

    Unfortunately my husband’s steak was an epic fail. Had to send it back twice. Bad experience and will definitely will not go back ever again. Manager was also not very professional. Thought I could treat my husband on his 50th Birthday, but sadly not. The starters, drinks and wine were of good quality.

    I got a small table in a corner and all for another one but this was not possible also nearly all table was free - very unpolite if your reception woman

    The waiter was inexperienced, even though he was sweet and trying hard. We had to remind him of orders, extras, etc. Food presentation was very basic, without any imagination. As for quality, it was unremarkable. For starters, we ordered pepper poppers, which we didn’t finish, as they weren’t worth eating, however the snails were very tasty. The sirloin was very good, while the chicken and mushroom pasta was effectively drowned in cream, negating all other flavors. No dessert. The price is very reasonable. In all, if you want a good, basic steak house with a pleasant-enough atmosphere, it’s fine.

    We did the date night special for just R400, which comprised a 2 course meal with a bottle of wine. We both had the steak and calamari combo. I had my calamari deep fried and my partner had hers grilled. Both options were done to perfection. The steaks were done to exacting standards of medium rare and medium, and they seemed larger than the stated 200g. The wine offered was a reasonable wine, but did not detract from the overall experience. The desserts were the star of the show in my view. And this says a lot coming from me, that is not a chocolate lover. The choclate orgasms were aptly titled. The cake was light and moist and way oversized. We shared the one and took the other home for further spoils. This is the aboslute recommendation for the night in my books. The service was excellent and nothing was a challenge to the staff. The on duty manager was amazing and extremely engaging. If it was not for a Sunday evening and terrible weather, I'm sure we would've stayed much longer. We will definitely return for another date night.

    I enjoyed the setting, lighting was on point, background music was great. Food options were great (great choices, made choosing difficult), the food was delicious and we'll presented. Our hostess and waiter were great. The bonus was covered parking at the hotel. All in all a great night out.
