Your Italian Restaurant in Cape Town

The Cousins Trattoria was an idea created by Andrea, Simone and Luca who wanted to bring their knowledge and passion for food to Cape Town.

These cousins from Romagna, on the Adriatic coast of Italy, have lived in (and loved) Cape Town for many years, but felt there was not a place in the city where they could find the simple, authentic Italian food they had grown up with, in their homeland.

So joining their skills, they opened The Cousins Trattoria, where Andrea makes fresh pasta every morning, using only fresh and natural ingredients, just like Mama does! Bread and tiramisu are baked daily; great coffee and a passion for service makes this easy going place a heaven
for the senses.

    Excellent food - great experience I have been going here for years. Still ask for a Steel Works and they still have no ginger beer -- but let's not be concerned . Great time with Burnt Sage Ravioli - yum

    The staff and space are great and welcoming; the food however was underwhelming especially the gnocchi verdi. For the food served it was too pricey for what was (insipidly) delivered.

    We were in the hotel section of the restaurant and the music was too loud at times and too noisy. Everything else was amazing
