We opened in 1998 and we have been the busiest restaurant in Camps bay since opening. We take pride in our work and provide the best Seafood quality. Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

We do not advertise. We believe that the best advertising is word of mouth of happy guests and this is what has kept us full and busy for the last 17 years! A good name and great reputation cannot be bought. It has been earned through consistency over time.

We have no menus. Our warm and highly trained waitrons instead guide you through our extensive array of delicious and incredible selection of fresh seafood and help you to select an individual plate or platter for the table. They will explain as to the different tastes and textures of the seafood and how the food is prepared and served and show you the cost of your selection.

    Awful time and was expecting an amazing experience. Arrived and we’re not told about starters, the look on our faces when table next to us had a salad! We thought we would get menu for starters. How can you not tell customers about starters. I’m still baffled. My fish was half size that I chose. I recommended friends to go here. Never again!!!

    Food slightly over cooked , need more care on prep and cooking, it’s like a conveyor belt system at the counter , shame it takes away from the experience and quality feel

    We have enjoyed every second in the restaurant! We are used to 1-3 Star Restaurants in Europ! Here we did not find a difference to the Star Restaurants in Europ! Would like to have again a reservation on 2.3.2025 and pray that we get it!

    We would highly recommend The Codfather. Another great evening with delicious food personally selected from the extensive fresh seafood counter. They also have excellent sushi, but which we didn't have on this occasion. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
