Opened in late 2015 at Nelson Mandela Square in the heart of Sandton, Johannesburg The Big Mouth is a dining experience that you could easily find in a major city like New York, LA or London yet is still uniquely South African. Our menu varies from the freshest grilled seafood to gourmet burgers to a selection of world class sushi. The heart of the kitchen is our unique, world renowned Josper grill. This charcoal oven gives our hot dishes an authentic, robust chargrilled or “braai’d” flavour.

    Our Waitress was superb. The manager was fabulous, I phoned at 5pm wanting to change the booking from 4 to 5 people? The Hostess said that it wasn't possible, so I asked to speak to the Manager. He was so accommodating he assured me he would changed my booking to 5 people. He did and next thing it came through to my

    Starter ( chicken and salmon sticks) and Mains were very tasty ( Prawn curry and Kingklip). Dessert was a bit of a let down , Gelato tasted more like sorbet.

    Once again, perfect - never lets me down. Great food - the best actually. Great service and such friendly and caring staff. The sushi is absolutely delicious and unbelievably tasty and fresh. The fried calamari and halloumi - exquisite. I highly recommend that halloumi, with the sweet chill sauce on the side. Absolutely amazing. Thank you Big Mouth!
