    Beautiful setting and staff very friendly however not much of a variety on the menu. Very small selection. No chicken no catch of the day . I think they should be more creative with their menu and the wine is quite expensive. We enjoyed the outing as locals and will support them again.

    Blown away (not literally). A few days in Yzerfontein for our wedding anniversary. I wanted to treat my wife. Was a little hesitant when making an online reservation. So glad I did. This was one of the best eating-out experiences we have ever had. True, it was an unusually calm and beautiful summer's evening. The bay was calm. the seagulls relaxed and the early evening windsurfers having a ball. But the restaurant, the service ... and the food ... was absolutely amazing. Don't be put off by the limited menu. What is on the menu is exceptionally good. The dishes we selected were sublimely tasty and beautifully presented. The whole experience was enhanced by the professional yet friendly service, a great ambience, and a setting and views of the bay that were breathtaking as the dusk turned into darkness and the lights of the village reflected off the sea. The Beach House is a great addition and drawcard to the town. We would travel to Yzerfontein just for Rosemead Bakery and the Beach House. Food at its very best! There is no question ... we WILL be back.

    About time someone turned the old dump into this spectacular restaurant. The decor and view is now one of the best around. The staff are well trained and really friendly. The food was top class. Our guests from abroad were most impressed. Thank you for making our evening so special.
