The Wine Experience at the Indaba Hotel is a beguiling piece of the Cape Winelands right in the heart of Fourways The space offers a comprehensive array of acclaimed wines as well as delicious snack boards and a light menu.

This is the ideal place to sample, sip and savour this historic Stellenbosch farm's wines. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to walk you through Wine ranges, each of which are available for you to savour on-site or to purchase for enjoyment at home.

On warm days, unwind with a glass of wine on the shade-dappled stoep, where you are surrounded by the Indaba Hotel's lush and tranquil garden. It's so relaxing that you'll find it hard to believe that Sandton's bustle is a mere 20 minutes away.

    I recently visited and had a mixed experience. While I arrived on time alongside another couple, I found myself waiting for thirty minutes for a table. Palesa informed me that she was looking for a clean table but didn't provide any updates until I inquired for the third time. Ultimately, I was told I could choose any vacant table, which felt unnecessary given the wait. On a positive note, my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience once we were seated. Learning about the history of the wines and the various aromas and ingredients was delightful. Patricia, our server, was fantastic and made our time memorable with her knowledgeable insights. However, the noise levels were quite disruptive. Some patrons were quite loud, making it challenging to hear Patricia and even converse with each other. We eventually moved inside for a better atmosphere. It was evident that the venue was understaffed, which contributed to the delays and made it difficult to receive timely attention. I recommend addressing this staffing issue, especially during peak times, to enhance overall efficiency. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the experience was enjoyable, thanks to Patricia's excellent service and the rich learning about wines.

    Everything was great I just wish that the platter had a little bit more on their and that we were allowed to at least have a glass of our fav wine after the tasting .

    Wouldn’t recommend Tasting Room. Terrible service, host wasn’t welcoming; our waitress came to our table after almost 20 minutes after we arrived. We booked our experience online but waited for so long to receive anything. Our tapas came after more than an hours wait, one strawberry for us to share and no pita bread even though it’s in the description of the platter. Our waitress rushed through the tasting and my partner waited for 30 minutes for ice for his drink. Terrible!
