Swirl, sip and savour our award-winning wine varietals and vintages from four distinctive wine ranges: Harvested with pride, hand crafted with meticulous attention to detail, and bottled with passion, every wine is an expression of our dedication to excellence. Relax in our elegant Homestead tasting room or soak up the spectacular views of our historic Werf outdoors.

Wine tasting is open on a reservations-only basis from Monday to Saturday, 09h00 to 16h00. Tastings start at R95 per person. A minimum of 12 guests are required per reservation.

    We had an amazing time tasting at Vergenoegd with George! He gave us a tour of the Homestead and had all sorts of fun facts to share. We then were seated in front of the fire and lead through an amazing tasting. George was very passionate and knowledgeable and really did a fabulous job. We would recommend this experience to anyone. The wine was amazing and we hope to be able to visit again one day!

    Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday brunch at Vergenoegd followed by a fun, very informative wine tasting experience that included some interesting German wines I havr never had the opportunity to try!
