The new Stellenbosch Kitchen restaurant, located in the historic centre of Stellenbosch, operates in a National Monument building that previously housed the very popular Jan Cats Restaurant & Ladies Bar, established in 1987.
Stellenbosch Kitchen and its underlying property are owned by Andre and Helena Pieterse, who also own the 5-star Coopmanhuijs Boutique Hotel & Spa and the highly regarded Helenas Restaurant at 33 Church Street in Stellenbosch.

Our dishes are adapted from classics found around the world. We source most of our produce within 50km of Stellenbosch and we liaise closely with our suppliers to procure only the freshest seasonal ingredients.

    A beautiful meal for our daughter’s birthday. The food was stunning, , it was hard to decide what to eat with so many great choices. Our waitress Kudzai was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, helpful and fantastic at her job. An all around great experience thank you.

    We had an absolutely lovely evening and meal here to celebrate my Mom's birthday. Food quality and service from our friendly waitress Claudine was top notch!

    Unfortunately the standard of your fish n chips has gone down considerably. This is a pity because it’s one of the main reasons we come to eat with you. The fish pieces were tasteless and so was the batter. We also noted the reduction in portion size.
