At Stefan's, fine diners will experience a lavish but moderately priced Table d'hôte menu, with flavours and inspiration from all over the world, enhanced by locally sourced fresh ingredients. Diners will be taken on a riveting gastronomic journey of a special menu varying between seven to ten courses from Wednesday to Saturday, changing daily depending on the seasonable availability and bloom of sourced produce.

    Fantastic experience of innovative, understated presentation. Loved the smoked, pork belly bitterballen (best I've had!) as well as the mushroom rocks that literally looked like little rocks as well as the ornamental carrot looking buchu and tomato butter and the delicious Basque cheesecake to finish off a fabulous seven course.

    Thank you chef Stefan for the new menu, what we enjoyed so much! You are away creating something special with a new twist. Addressed to Lupho, Gloria and Andile: you are an amazing crew, giving us the feeling of being at home, while having a date night. We felt spoilt in every minute.

    Everything was excellent. With one exception. The wine in the wine pairing that was served with the Basque cheesecake was absolutely inappropriate.

    Nice food,charming atmosphere by the fire and gloria and her Colleges did a fine job spoiling us.

    Stefan's is located in a lovely setting. This being an unbiased review, would suggest maybe looking at the sign boards which are contradictory. Professional staff were very welcoming. Restaurant consisted of only three bookings which we thought would lead to a romantic evening to celebrate our 20th anniversary. It was not. A table across from us was occupied by 14 loud tourists which did spoil our experience. Foodwise it was a mixed bag. Pork belly was very dry, wagyu tongue sounded amazing but was not, neither was the venison. The fish dishes, as one who does not really eat fish, were superb. Staff were attentive and friendly .
