We had an incredible evening at Spyced. The Cape Malay food was delicious and stuck to tradition with samosas, bobotie, lamb and chicken curry and plenty of delicious vegetarian options too. It was a set menu and a lot of food so I would try to come very hungry. What made the night special was the face-painting, friendly service and incredible jazz band. I would absolutely go back with a large crowd of people and have a fun night. I would definitely recommend for large groups and functions. Quite pricey at R750 pp for the set menu but considering the whole experience, I would pay it again.

The music was too loud for guests to have conversations. It is more of a party venue - that turned into a staff party. Staff danced and neglected their duties. The food a OK but not worth the price paid.
