    We had a great lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The food is very good, and not overly complicated but home made and super resin. The hake was so good: moist and flaky with crunchy french fries. Tuna and calamari for starters: both fresh and full of taste. Well done. The staff is friendly and attentive, but also not over complicated. With a nice bottle of the Phantom we enjoyed ourselves with the beautiful views, and had dessert&coffee on the terrace. It’s definitely worth the beautiful drive through the Karwyderskraal. Recommended and we’ll definitely be back!

    We enjoyed our first visit to Spookfontein. The location and the tasting room buildings are simply and naturally beautiful. The ambience is one of charm and tranquility. The food and service were 5 star, with expert assistance from the charming Marianne. We look forward to our next visit.
