Salsa is not your traditional Mexican Grill. Sure, we offer authentic Mexican recipes. And yes, we use traditional cooking methods. In fact, we traveled all the way to the West Coast of the USA to master them and bring them back to South Africa!

    Was my first time at Salsa, my expectation was high but also I think I came at a busy day and it was understaffed cause we seated at 19:45 order and only got our water request at 20:30 and drinks at 20:50 and food at just past 21:00. The was a time we didn’t see Amanda our waiter for 30 mints. I’ll add that we came on Valentine’s Day and we understand the influx but it’s something they should have prepped for. The food was good just didn’t see the was tomato in the menu and cause it’s infused it didn’t give me a great experience. The chicken strips is what got the mail a high percentage. But again maybe Salsa isn’t my type of food as well.

    Really enjoyed ourselves. We have been to Salsa a couple of times and have a good experience every time.

    Service was very slow. Restuarant was not that full even though it was valentine’s day. Had to witness the manager on duty scolding his staff. No atmosphere. Have been to other Salsa’s. Won’t be returning to this one

    What I really appreciated was the fact that our waitress was knowledgeable on all aspects of the cuisine and prep processes and could manage our expectations. The food flavors were amazing. So much so that eating at a certain other franchised Mexican outlet will never be as good again. The Burritos set a whole new standard for us. We will definitely return to Salsa Bedfordview. Highly recommended.
