The Root44 Wine emporium, located on the first-floor, hosts offerings for the cultured person with a keen interest in wine, art, and good food. Surrounded by a well-designed structure and stylish interior, it boasts an art gallery, sport’s bar, oyster bar, coffee shop, restaurant and a wine shop and tasting room that showcases local wines and gives guests a tasting experience of an array of Stellenbosch wines.     Best experience ever ....even though we bit disappointed about the beers that you guys didn't have...hopefully when come back we will be having the beer because we not all wine drinkers ......but we did enjoy and we were looking forward to spend our whole day there.....A big shout to Zanda our waitress!!! Thank you for a great service...

    Raymond was a real breath of fresh air when serving our table. While we were still seated, we discussed that we would be back. A very tasty Sunday roast and definitely value for money.

    We opted for the Sunday roast. Very limited variety of food to dish up from, and for the price of R300pp, we expected to be able to dish more than once.
