Quills Restaurant, in uniquely African fashion, offers guests the opportunity to experience spectacular restaurant dining in Kempton Park, Johannesburg at InterContinental O.R. Tambo Airport. An 18-metre (59 foot) porcupine quill mobile suspended from the ceiling of the restaurant sets the tone, as does the dramatic collage of traditional African masks. The spirit of Africa – its energy, originality, and passion – is reflected in its authentic cuisine.

Guests can enjoy delicious breakfasts, cosmopolitan lunches and contemporary dinners. Specialising in local dishes paired with outstanding South African wines, the restaurant’s distinctive atmosphere is one that reflects the warm hospitality of South Africa’s City of Gold. Quills Bar, meanwhile, serves an excellent variety of cocktails, local wines, ciders and beers, and provides the ideal opportunity to relax, socialise, or simply spend quality time with friends and family.

    Very pretty, comfortable and nice. Service was good and food great. The Springbok was perfect although just a little too big of a portion. We were however happy with food quality. Cocktail variety maybe could’ve been wider but we weren’t there for drinking but for nice dinner so were happy.

    We had just arrived from the states , tired and hungry. Quills delivered everything we desired . A relaxed atmosphere, efficient service , delicious food and not too expensive. Thank you !

    The service was slow, but not exceptionally slow however my curry was so hot I could not eat it. The steaks were okay but generally I would have associated for higher quality of food and service from this location.
