    We had a lovely late lunch. My only slight gripe is that the chicken - main course, not sharing - consisted of a small chicken leg, with some chopped up potatoes and mushrooms that barely filled the bottom of the pasta bowl it came in. For R235. I went home hungry. The sharing plates looked pretty much the same size, and half the price.

    Harvest Table evening. Fantastic food. Lovely wines. Unobtrusive yet efficient service. Beautiful, peaceful setting. You could not make trips to stores to buy ingredients, cook this meal at home (that could be a full stop there as it is unlikely one has the talent and skills of Chef Monché), serve 6 different, quality wines, have the 5 courses served to you and cleaned up after for R695. Pink Valley Harvest Table is a fantastic bargain.

    I love going to Pink Valley and the setting is stunning. Unfortunately the food is rather overpriced for what you get.
