    We would have appreciated some introduction to the wines and also some help getting picnic baskets down to the picnic area since I was with my elderly parents. In the end we were accommodated in the shade by the winery. Food was excellent and plentiful.

    The food (vegetarian picnic) was very tasty and of great variety, but way too much! I appreciate very much that no plastic containers were used. A great experince altogether

    We had THE most fabulous wine tasting and picnic under the trees on Saturday 23rd November. The staff we so helpful and professional, the picnic was delicious although due to our wine tasting it was later than we had scheduled (our fault) but when we put our picnic blanket on the grass and gazed at the stunning view, it made me realise (again) what a glorious place Franschhoek is. Thank you Gerard and your team for a very special afternoon.

    We enjoyed our picnic very much. Unfortunately it was a windy day.. but the idea, arrangements and the surroundings are very nice.

    While we loved the beautiful picnic area, we did feel that the food was underwhelming in terms of quality and presentation (considering the price). We found the blankets and pillows provided quite aesthetically outdated. Despite booking a particular slot - our group had to wait about 25 minutes for our baskets to be ready. We found the staff to be very friendly, yet unprepared, but the complimentary glass of wine on entry was appreciated and the restaurant burgers were delicious.
