    Great event and ambience. There was a mix up with our vegetarian hamper but they worked hard to come up with an (ok) solution. Besides from that was a great evening and would go again!

    I would give the service a 10 out of 5 if I could. The staff were so lovely, helpful and attentive and the food was divine. I arranged a picnic for my birthday and it was the easiest thing in the world thanks to the efficiency of the Hazendal team. The setting is one of my absolute favourites in the Cape. It was a stunning experience all around and I highly recommend it

    60% of the food was horrible, please cater for all types of people,race and whether they wine lovers or non drinkers...there should be a option to change or swop out some food
