The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

At Piatto we are proud to offer you an exceptional experience with efficient service and quality. We focus on providing great value for money in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our menu boasts a huge variety of dishes and our food caters to all palettes.

    Your reservation system is honestly trash. It doesn’t help that the meat gets burned. Honestly Piatto in Midrand or Mall of the south has way better service altogether.

    I visited Piatto in Eastgate yesterday on the 5th. We celebrated my dad's birthday and the overall experience was amazing. The service though, is something that can be improved, our server kept forgetting the items requested.. A celebratory dessert plate for my dad could've been better presented as the writing was already smudged when it was delivered.
