The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

    The waitress had too many tables we constantly had to wait minutes for her to come to us. The food tasted bad, had no taste. We were not asked on what basting to use on the meat. The salad did not come in a bowl it came on a side plate and we couldn’t dress it.

    My family and I had a wonderful time at the Piatto in Alberton last night. The service and food were excellent. Keep up the great work!
