Excellent food. The green tomatoes and the grilled mushrooms were absolutely delicious. Our waiter was charming, helpful with recommendations and very attentive. A great evening.

Pretentieus air. Went here for lunch and expected a good meal after reading the reviews. We were very disappointed. First the service was not very attentive and also pushy. We were told kitchen closed soon so we had to hurry. Then there were not many choices for lunch of which some were not available. The food itself was very disappointing we thought. Serving a few peaces of watermelon in a sauce with white cheese is not really cooking. Nor is serving a lonely sausage in a bowl with only some humus like substance. No bread and nothing else to accompany this. The tuna carpaccio with herbs and oil tasted good but has nothing to do with eating out at a fine restaurant . All the plates could be made at snack bar. Then the wine. I think it’s pretty strange to ask 80 rands for half a glass of mediocre wine. No I can and will not advise this restaurant if you are looking for a good lunch spot. Overpriced and not special at all. As we would say at home: ‘this place sells baked air’
