Exceeded my expectations. Portions were huge, food was delicious and the vibe was great. Definitely be back with the whole family. Their cheese is amazing.

Food was very, very good. I did discover that the bottom of the "bread basket" of my meatball dish was a bit burned. When I pointed out to the waiter he did inform the kitchen and they offered to make me a new meal. I declined as I already ate half of it and did not feel that it would have been right to get a whole new meal. I was impressed that it was offered as an option. The 5 star calzone pizza that my sister-in-law had was amazing, very unusual and very rich. The mushroom, prosciutto and the pesto filling was the favourites. Menu prices are a bit on the steep side, and would unfortunately, for us, be a place for a special occasion and not a casual night out. Wines quite costly per bottle, but the price per glass, I thought, was reasonable. Lovely bustle in the restaurant, it was a chilly evening so we sat inside. I can just imagine sitting outside, on the deck, on a good weather day, sipping on cold wine and enjoying Aperitivo selection or a platter. I do not have small children, but there is a lovely lawn and play area for the children. The service was excellent, we were served by a new waiter, but what I liked, is when he could not answer a question about the dishes he were not totally familiar with, he went and asked about it, which is great instead of just pretending that he knew what he was talking about. Maybe the manager or owner that is on duty could pop around to the tables and check in, I personally would have liked that as I had many questions. The Tiramisu was to die for, and a massive portion and despite not being a "desert person", because there was two spoons, she had a good part of it after "I'm just having a taste". Definitely worth a repeat visit. I am from Cape Town, but make the drive and bring some family and friends along! Until next time!
