Setup, owned and run by the legendary Goncalves brothers, Victor and Naldo, NV-80 is the connection to years of dedication to industry and craft. An ode to the classic grill houses of yesteryear, NV-80 is a nod to a bygone era of real service, exceptional food and a classic yet contemporary dining aesthetic.

Serving beautiful steaks, seafood, salads and a wide array of starters, sides and specials, NV-80 has something for everyone. Over the years NV-80 has become a staple with locals and tourists and has earned NV-80 a reputation as a Cape Town institution. Bought in 2022 by NoName Hospitality Group and partners with the aim of honouring the brands legacy while adding value for a loyal customer base. NoName Hospitality Group intends to build on the brands reputation for quality product and service as well strive to uphold the incredible standards and time honoured traditions instilled by the brothers.     A good night out. Food is good but the menu hasn't changed much over the past 3 years. The menu seems a lot more focused. Shellfish and steaks. I'd recommend the tasting menu after having a look at the options available in relation to price. We had the surf and turf with chips. Pretty average. The iqf chips were disappointing. If you are price conscious, note the sauces are priced in the same range as some sides. Steak was done to required temp. No complaints other than a lack of seasoning (for me). Queen prawns were delicious. Amazing sauce.

    we were guests. and both experiences we did not pay. were a bit concerned that our recommendation was expensive and not totally deserved. food was nice and liked by all

    Food was lovely, the price is on the higher side but worth it. Service was great, location is also great with onsite parking, in the building and parking fee minimal. Definitely recommend.
