Named after two streets in New York City, Mulberry & Prince is the brainchild of foodie friends and co-owners, Cornel Mostert and Cynthia Rivera, who met whilst studying at The Culinary Institute of America. The perfect fusion of South African and American, Cynthia grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and Cornel was born and bred in the Mother City. The pair's combined experience stretches to some of the world's top international kitchens including Noma in Copenhagen, Alinea in Chicago and The Modern in New York City. "Everything from the food, to the decor and music thats playing reflects both of our personalities, all coming together in an intriguing space," says Cornel Mostert, co-owner and chef.

    Food was beautifully presented,neat and cosy atmosphere.Friendly and attentive staff.Food was delicious.The only dish that I was looking forward to was the chicken & waffles, but it was the complete opposite in looks- crumbs were falling off the chicken, it was over fried and dried out(i have pics)- it should not have been served, we also had to ask for the maple syrup, as it was not served together....but we did not put on a fuss.

    I am a very big fan of the Turkish eggs breakfast meal, though I do think the portion is not very filling.
