The kitchen is the domain of Annie Badenhorst. A talented young Namibian chef with a passion for finding only the best fresh produce and creatively turning dishes into simple but creative menu items.

We offer our guests a choice of delishes dishes, paired with sensational wine from Benguela Cove’s Winery. In the evening, Chef Badenhorst likes to cook to create a memorable occasion.     We had the Family Sunday Lunch (roast lamb). Absolutely delicious and excellent value. Wine was also incredible. Would Highly recommend this experience to anyone who hasn't yet visited Benguela Cove.

    We had Hake and salad. Unfortunately it was not very tasteful, no spices at all. The cheese and charcuterieboards from the neighbour tables looked very good. But all dishes seem to be to expensive for what you get. Cheeseboard for 2 = 600R - really?

    It was our 3rd and last time there. I phoned twice to inform the restaurant that we have 4 kids under the age of 3 with us and asked to be seated in the courtyard outside. This was not done, the manager told us she would arrange it, after waiting a while, we moved our own table away from food that had been on the floor for days, and heaps of bird poo. The service thereafter was ok, however, our table was then next to a stage being set up for a concert that evening, the man setting up the stage was rude to us, threw electrical cables at us and insisted in placing speakers on stands above the heads of the children. The food was ok, my son's steak was full of sinews, the hake was small and dry and the prices are horrific. The dessert are approximately R200 each and really not that fantastic, there are many wine farms in the Overberg that give much better service, much better ambience and excellent food. At least the toilets were clean.

    We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary with a wine tasting and lunch. It was our first time visiting Benguela Cove and the day was just SUBLIME!

    An allround possitive experience. We were a large group of 14 persons and our waitor could have used some assistance. Other than that, absolutely nothing to fault. Great job and all-in-all highly recommendable!
