Located in the heart of Gauteng’s busiest tourism route, Molitva is perfectly positioned in The Cradle of Humankind. A mere 3km’s from the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, this country gem is a quick turn off Kromdraai Road. Specialising in fresh, organic, homegrown fruits and vegetables, Molitva’s mouthwatering food menu will charm any tastebuds. The menu is largely centered around a range of mezze and tapas styled foods from various Mediterranean cuisines, but also offers those that prefer something a little more substantial; homemade pasta’s, an array of salads, a selection of grills and a variety of appetizing burgers.

Head chef and part owner, Milan Cerimaj describes Molitva’s cuisine as “Orthodox Mediterranean” with subtle twists and adaptations.

Surrounded by the green, lush countryside and mountainous views, this restaurant and pub is the perfect setting for a day out with the family, a romantic date or a time to kick back and relax with friends.

    Very nice experience at Molitva, their dishes are impressive, delicious with nice size servings. Perfect for sharing whether a table for two or a large group. Worth the visit! The Aperols Spritz were a bit expensive though..

    The food was wonderful, except two quests said that the pork neck was chewie and dry, the prawns was very tasty and I enjoyed it, just you said is was queen size prawns, to me it looked like prince prawns, I have eaten queen size at other restaurants and these were definitely not queens. So the value of money, it was a bit expensive comparing to other restaurants.

    Amazing service, great atmosphere and the food tasted great. The portion sizes are small for the prices and there was no vegetarian meal option as they ran out of ingredients.

    I’ve been to Moltiva numerous times but 26 January 2025 the service was terrible. The waitresses didn’t even put in an effort. We didn’t even know who was serving us. I’m really disappointed.

    Terrible service. Completely untrained waiters who stand around chatting with each other ignoring the customers. Waiters do not understand what is on the menus.

    Disappointed and annoyed. After confirming a booking on Dineplan days in advance, we made a 50-minute drive to the restaurant only to be told by security that the restaurant is closed. While at the gate, the security personnel phoned one of the managers and asked her if she wants to speak to us and explain but she declined to speak to us. The least she could have done is apologise.
