A great many street food vendors make up the colour, sounds and smells of India. They nourish the appetites of busy white-collar workers, sweaty rickshaw drivers and hungry school children all through the day. Our menu tips the hat to these roadside culinary masters. Our cuisine is the without frills earthy, lovingly made food of the people and dresses up the tastes of India.

Top-class Indian food. Slightly expensive for Pretoria, but well worth it. Waiters could assist more with choices and what can be shared. Still quiet. Once the city knows about the quality, it will get hectic. Well done!

Nice variety from starters to mains, both veg and non veg on offer. Not being able to offer dishes in differing spiciness levels was a little disappointing but more than enough variety to work around. The pan puri and papri chaat were absolute flavor bombs and the perfect way to begin the meal. Mains consisted of lamb Rogan Josh and madras prawn curry. The Rogan Josh was tender and flavorful to the last spoonful. The madras curry was somewhat spicey towards the extreme side and the tomato based sauce tasted undercooked as there was still a fair amount of acidity in the sauce, unbalanced. The prawns were overcooked but still edible. Supplemented with basmati rice and some garlic naan rounded off the meal nicely. We chose the covered balcony area for the fresh air but only to have it spoilt by other patrons smoking. Is smoking in restaurants still a thing. The service was prompt and informative. Waitron answered all our questions and showed good knowledge of the menu and dishes. Food is reasonably priced whereas wines are a little out of touch with market related prices. All in all a fair experience but will definitely return for another sample of the menu.

Had a very good experience overall. We had the pani puri as starters, and the butter chicken and fish curry as mains, all of which exceeded our expectations. The cheesecake for desert was an absolute winner.
