This has been the worse experience with the service, on the absence of head Chef, the team seemed completely unorganised and clueless. It took 45 min for the team to serve starters and the maincourse came through an hour thereafter. Seemed complete chaos.

A lovely restaurant but the service was ridiculously slow. We had to wait ages for everything. The drinks the food, just seemed like they wanted to drag out the process. The food was ok. Not much meat on the lamb shank and the skinny fries were cold. Such a shame as the venue was beautiful and the food presentation was good.

Better communication is essential between the booking office and the mint restaurant. We made a booking for 12pm, the day before we got confirmation of booking for 1pm. We there at 12:30pm and we are told the high tea starts at 2pm. We were told you have to wait until 2 pm because the chef was busy. No apology nothing. Yet we had booked a month in advance and pay a deposit fee of more than half of the expected total bill. This experience changed my mood. There was only like 3 teas available. And for a table 5 people only one tea pot came to the table. I was shocked....! Other place give each person a pot of tea with their preferred tea.we had to ask for more tea...! It was sad indeed. The food was good, they made tasty food although half of it was vegetarian, it was made well. All in all, there is room for a improvement and I think the place has potential to do better. If we call it high it then 1. Have a variety of teas that people can choose from that is available. 2. Invest in smaller tea pots so that the entire table doesn't have to drink the same tea. It also adds to the deal 3. If a mistake is on your side, ensure you speak to your clients more curtesiously and accommodate them. High is an experience. 4. Two people can share the savoury start but to use one savoury stand/service for 5 people is a bit weird.
