Millflour Café is a family-oriented restaurant, offering a wide variety of café bistro style meals suitable for everyone.  Millflour Cafe is situated on Figtree Farm, a popular destination in KZN, offering numerous activities with the golf driving range, retail shops, Adventure Golf, Laser Tag, Spa, Arts and Crafts and many more. 

Our breakfast and lunch options caters for old and young, a wide variety of tastes, whilst also providing delicious options for our health conscious, vegan and gluten-free customers.

Our wood-fired pizzas have gained widespread popularity in Hillcrest and we have become renowned for a thin crispy base and unique fresh combinations of toppings. Millflour Café has a 'make-your-own' kids pizza bar, a real hit with the little ones.

Millflour Café proudly stocks a delectable assortment of baked goods and breads supplied from our own bakery. From luxury cakes and croissants to tartlets, lemon meringues, and cheesecakes, our offerings are sure to tantalise your taste buds, all lovingly baked by a team of artisanal bakers. Freshly baked sourdough breads arrive daily along with assorted biscuits, snacks, luxury granola, and rusks to satisfy any craving.
 
Immerse yourself in the tranquil countryside ambiance as you choose to dine in our outdoor seating area under the canopy of trees, along the veranda, or within the cozy confines of the main café. A destination for all seasons. 

Millflour Cafe and Baking Co proudly holds a liquor license, allowing us to offer an enticing selection of wines, including Red, White, Rosé, and Sparkling options. Additionally, we are excited to introduce our new Cocktail menu. Below, you'll find details on our Corkage Policy:

- Corkage Fee - R 60 per 750ml (limited to 2 bottles per table)
- No corkage allowed on tables of 15 or more
- No corkage allowed on wines we sell

    Breakfast was lovely and our waitress was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately I was not given seating options whilst making the booking and did not much like the cramped feeling on the balcony section.

    Hi Callin, thank you for the review. The veranda is the most requested area in the Cafe so we tend to assume that most people enjoy sitting there. Next time when you call please specify that you would rather be outside or inside the cafe. We are also very willing to move customers around if there are open tables, so please feel free to ask for a different table when you are not happy with your seating arrangement. glad you seemed to have enjoyed the rest of your Millflour visit.     Always an excellent meal, so beautifully served. We feel that tge waiters could be more attentive. We always have to ask for the sweets menu some time after the main meal.

    I love Millflour and visit up to 3 times per month with a group of retired ladies. It is our preferred restaurant/coffee shop in the Upper Hghway area. I visited again yesterday. As usual, everything was perfect. Unfortunately, the cost of parking is an issue for many retirees most of my friends said they wouldn't be returning due to this. I am very sad about this but it is unaffordable for many pensioners with the parking cost. Is it not possible to offer free parking or substantially reduced parking for restaurant users?

    Hi Lynn, thank you for sharing your positive feedback about the cafe. We would be equally sad should you and your group be unable to find a way to still come visit the farm and Millflour Cafe. I hope you manage to make some lift club arrangements that works for a few of you to come together in future. The entrance fee is charged by Fig Tree Farm towards the upkeep and continuous development of the beautiful space we find ourselves in. Unfortunately, it is not possible for Millflour Cafe to subsidise this fee for our visitors, so maybe make those visits count.
