    We enjoyed our evening very much . Food was delicious . We shared an assortment of tasty starters . The duck parfait and crackling were delicious . Duck breast for mains and tuna belly beautifully served and equally delicious . All sides are extra which makes it quite pricey .

    Great new spot, we hosted clients and they all enjoyed it thoroughly Tips....look for the local wine list as opposed to the "cellar" wines you get steered towards. Enjoy the full range of starters, they're awesome, especially the duck as well as the bowl of sausages! The main courses have NO SIDES and are tiny, example the port cheeks are R85, but it's literally just 4 blocks of meat (I had to double up) Also check the menu when booking, the internet had tuna belly on the menu, but on the night it had been removed. The food is super tasty and the desert menu a treat! I suggest going halvies on the passion fruit posset and the pumpkin doughnuts. Both are fabulous. Was concerning that over 3 levels the restaurant was rather empty, but sure it'll fill up over season and improve the vibe. I can recommend the Merchant, really great effort
