Maximillien Restaurant launches New Menu
The décor is reminiscent of the old school Balthazar restaurant in New York, and the dark wood panelling, mirrors and red upholstery, as well as the black and white checked floors and intricately pressed ceilings would find you thinking that you had indeed headed back in time to the 1920’s.
What can only be described as one of Sandton’s most well-known restaurants, the Maximillien is a stalwart of fine dining at its best. Floor to ceiling windows allow in soft natural light during the day and create a picturesque view for evening dining. Romantic candle light dinners setting the mood.

    Great experience, took my mother and sister out for the afternoon and they fully enjoyed it. We ordered hot chocolate had to wait and wait, then I had to walk to the bar to order again cause our initial order didn’t come, that was a bit of a disappointment. Nowhere to hang or put your bag, I think the team can work on adding that extra finesse. Also please reduce the amount of things you put on the table, at some point I couldn’t even eat properly cause the table was so cluttered. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, just those minor glitches here and there. I’d definitely go again.

    One of the best dinner dates me and my have and in a very long time. The idea to create one long table for everyone genius. Definitely coming back for me

    The DaVinici Maxim lounge does not disappoint. I have been attending the events heals at Maxim for the past 3 years. They are definitely one of the few restaurants that actually listens to the feedback from their customers and works on implementing it for ongoing customer satisfaction. Chef Atma and chef Soweto create mouthwatering dishes that never disappoints. Service is always attentive but not in your face.
